As an integrated additive manufacturing solution, model-based design (MBD) enables the manufacturers to convey the key product manufacturing information (PMI) clearly and flawlessly.  In addition to facilitating paperless designing, MBD eliminates the errors created by conventional and 2D printing technologies. A leading aerospace company was looking for customized 3D printing services to produce aircraft components using MBD.

Business Goals:

The client was looking for a 3D printing service provider who can design and deliver the 3D model with paperless design and without 2D printing errors. At the same time, the provider needs to ensure that the 3D printed parts comply with aerospace standards and methodologies accurately. 3D Modeling:

3D Model Generation:
